Apex Group, a global financial services provider, and NeoXam, a global leader in Data Management, Reporting, Portfolio Management and Valuation Software, have today announced the renewal of their long-standing partnership regarding the use of NeoXam’s portfolio management solution. Apex will continue deploying NeoXam’s technology within its South African offices, cementing its value proposition as an asset servicer.
The news signifies a continuation of a 20-year relationship between NeoXam and Maitland, the latter of which was acquired by Apex in December 2022. NeoXam’s technology has been integral to helping Apex adapt to the organisational challenges unearthed by its acquisition of Maitland, while also improving the efficiency of its operations through more effective data management.
Designed for large-volume asset managers such as Apex, NeoXam’s PMS offers a host of features such as holding analysis of real time and historical data, order generation and routing, and pre- and post-trade compliance checks. This enables portfolio managers, traders, and compliance officers to automate a wide array of tasks, optimising key front-to-back-office processes.
Jon Hugill, Global Head of Open-Ended Product at Apex Group, said: “We’re excited to renew our ongoing partnership with NeoXam, whose portfolio management solution has enabled us to provide our clients with a seamless service through a complex period for the business. In addition, NeoXam’s front office solutions in particular have enabled us to offer an exceptional service in South Africa, a region in which we hope to expand our presence considerably over the coming months.”
Philipp Sfeir, Managing Director of NeoXam EMEA North as well as for South Africa, added: “The continuation of our long-standing partnership with Apex Group, a truly renowned global financial institution, is a testament to the quality and sophistication of NeoXam’s solutions. Our technology has allowed Apex to continue providing a world-class service to its clients while navigating a complex acquisition. As ever, we remain committed to powering Apex’ data infrastructure from our local office in Cape Twon as well as around the globe, as the company continues to grow its presence in Africa and beyond.”
